Oscar Pistorius' brother (Carl Pistorius) wept today as a court cleared him over the death of a woman motorcyclist.
Carl Pistorius was acquitted of culpable homicide by a magistrate in South Africa over the 2008 road accident.
Maria Barnard was ruled to have been riding her motorbike too fast when she crashed into the back of his vehicle.
Pistorius' stepmother and sister hugged a tearful Pistorius in court as the prosecution said it had failed to prove its case and would take no further action.
The case attracted interest as it came to court shortly after double-amputee Olympics star Oscar Pistorius shot dead his girlfriend on Valentine's Day.
Oscar Pistorius is charged with premeditated murder in the shooting he says was accidental because he mistook her for a burglar.
There was no sign of the 26-year-old today, who is currently on bail ahead of his trial next month.
