Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova and Li Na are on Forbes magazine's Top 100 World's Highest Paid Athletes list for 2013, the only three women on the list. Where did each one rank? Find out.
Sharapova, No.22 on the list, remained the top-earning female athlete for the ninth straight year with $29 million, followed by Williams at No.68 with $20.5 million and Li Na at No.85 with $18.2 million.
"I look forward to the day when more than three women are on the list of 100, but I'm proud of the fact that all the women listed are WTA players," WTA Chairman & CEO Stacey Allaster added.
In compiling the list, Forbes took into account prize money, endorsements, exhibitions and appearance fees paid out between June 1, 2012 and June 1, 2013. For a complete list, visit www.forbes.com.
